Kontagent now supports mobile games on Unity

Analytics solution for the popular development platform

Kontagent, which provides user analytics for social and mobile apps, is now making its analytics available to mobile developers using the Unity platform. Unity is the increasingly popular development platform for both 2D and 3D content, with more than 800,000 registered developers.

"We know developers are looking for ways to build highly engaging mobile games and we are always trying to find ways to help our customers be more productive," said Fredric Newberg, CTO at Kontagent. "Unity has enabled developers worldwide to create amazing 3D video games. Now that Kontagent supports Unity, developers can also easily get the metrics they need to constantly improve those games and keep their players coming back for more."

Getting thorough data on game usage is an important tool for improving game designs. "Game design analytics can be a powerful tool to fine tune games," said David Helgason, CEO of Unity Technologies. "We're pleased that a leading analytics solution such as Kontagent's kSuite now supports Unity."

Mobile game developers can implement the analytics quickly by using the Kontagent plug-in for the Unity SDK. The analytics that Kontagent provides includes metrics such as average session lengths and user lifetimes.

Kontagent is the leading enterprise user analytics platform for social and mobile application developers, marketers and producers. Kontagent tracks more than 1,000 applications, over 150 million monthly active users, and in excess of 50 billion events each month. Founded in 2007, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with additional offices in Toronto and London.
