Kontagent now supports mobile games on Unity

Kontagent, which provides user analytics for social and mobile apps, is now making its analytics available to mobile developers using the Unity platform. Unity is the increasingly popular development platform for both 2D and 3D content, with more than 800,000 registered developers.

Getting thorough data on game usage is an important tool for improving game designs. "Game design analytics can be a powerful tool to fine tune games," said David Helgason, CEO of Unity Technologies. "We're pleased that a leading analytics solution such as Kontagent's kSuite now supports Unity."

Mobile game developers can implement the analytics quickly by using the Kontagent plug-in for the Unity SDK. The analytics that Kontagent provides includes metrics such as average session lengths and user lifetimes.
