Google platforms see simultaneous launch of mobile and desktop MMO

Spacetime Studios' free-to-play MMO is coming to Google Play and the Chrome Web Store

Spacetime Studios is launching its free-to-play MMO Dark Legends on Google Play and the Chrome Web Store for PC, Mac, and Linux, via partnership with Google. The game will be exclusively on those platforms for two weeks before also launching on iOS devices. All versions of Dark Legends support complete cross-platform play.

"Google Play and the Chrome Web Store allow us to upload and update our online, multiplayer games instantly. Their immediate and unified environment fits perfectly with Spacetime's ability to push global content to our suite of games on-the-fly across mobile and desktop," said Gary Gattis, CEO of Spacetime Studios. "We're both at the forefront of creating cross-platform gameplay that connects players in a much deeper online experience, anywhere and on any device."

The vampire-heavy Dark Legends is the third title in Spacetime's Legends franchise, preceded by Pocket Legends and Star Legends: The Blackstar Chronicles.

Third-person action-adventure games are his personal poison: Uncharted, Infamous, and Assassin's Creed just to name a few. If you see him around a convention, he's not hard to spot: Black guy, glasses, and a tie.
