Namco Bandai and From Software ship 620,000 copies of cult RPG in the US alone

Namco Bandai and From Software have shipped 1.5 million copies of cult RPG Dark Souls worldwide.

According to Andrisang, that's 620,000 shipped in the US, 470,000 in Europe, and 40,000 in Asia by Namco Bandai, and 370,000 in Japan, where developer From Software published the game.

The game was only published on PS3 in Japan, and on Xbox 360 and PS3 in the other regions.

Just last week Namco Bandai announced it was increasing its six month profit forecast from ¥3.2 billion to ¥7.8 billion.
