Star Trek: Infinite Space studio builds executive team

Seth Iorio has been appointed as chief operating officer of German online company Gameforge.

"Seth Iorio brings extensive expertise to the management board of Gameforge AG," said Alexander Rösner, CEO.

"He has proven himself over many years, most recently at Frogster. It is good to have him back in a key position at Gameforge and I look forward to the role he is going to play in our expanding enterprise."

Until recently Iorio held the position of executive director with Gameforge subsidiary Frogster, and until September 2010 was vice president of business development with Gameforge.

He also founded Rabbit Software.

In his new role Iorio will concentrate on community management, HR, localisation and customer service.

Gameforge currently has around 500 employees working on online and browser titles like Metin2, 4Story and Star Trek: Infinite Space.
