Channon joins NCsoft West as director of PR

Based in Brighton to lead European PR team

MMO company NCsoft West has hired Cat Channon as director of PR, charged with heading up the European PR team from the company base in Brighton.

Channon has previously worked in PR positions at Vivendi Universal and Take-Two, and for media firms Eurogamer and Future Publishing.

"We were looking for a connected, media-savvy professional to drive PR for our upcoming games, pushing Guild Wars 2 and our future announcements; with Cat's experience and contacts across the UK and Europe, we know we have the right match," offered Veronique Lallier, European managing director of NCsoft West.

Channon added: "For me joining NCsoft represents an exciting opportunity to be part of an incredibly strong and forward looking team who think globally, practically and work smart, in one of the most challenging and dynamic areas of the games industry."
