Electronic Arts also announced the return of the SSX extreme sports brand, with SSX: Deadly Descent, while Sony and Naughty Dog showed in-game footage of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.

THQ also revealed details of its team-up with movie director Guillermo Del Torro - a new horror game, InSane, will be released in 2013. Resistance 3, from Insomniac, was also on show at the awards.
