GAME and Amazon claim to be out of initial Kinect stock

No more web pre-orders for now, but bundles still available

GAME is no longer offering Kinect units from its website, claiming to have sold all its initial stock almost a month ahead of the motion controller's release date.

However, the amount of £130 single Kinect units the retailer had available has not been specified. Meanwhile, the chain is still offering the Xbox 360 plus Kinect bundle for £250.

A message on the GAME site reads "We've hit our limit for launch but you can still pre-order for a priority place in the queue. As soon as we have more stock in, we will make sure we get your order to you."

Amazon has also stopped taking pre-orders for the time being. HMV.co.uk and Play still offer units, although the latter warns that orders may not ship on launch day.

Kinect launches on 10th November, priced around £129.99.
