ArchKnight

Browser-based RPG's storyline to conclude this Friday.

LAND O’LAKES, FLORIDA – FEBRUARY 17, 2010 -- Artix Entertainment today announced it will finish the storyline for browser-based RPG ArchKnight on Friday, February 19th with final celebrations inside DragonFable, another RPG browser-based Artix title.

Did you ever think to yourself… gee, maybe if I kissed the girl who had just been frozen into an ice cube by a magic spell that you could somehow lift her curse? Only to find that your lips got stuck to the ice and you had to carefully drag her, block of ice and all, back to town and get the local smith to set YOU free?

… no one said becoming an ArchKnight was easy!

As promised to the players, the original ArchKnight was 100% re-created for upgraded members of AdventureQuest and DragonFable. Featuring new art, animation, and facepalm inducing cutscenes, the story has been evolving over the past few months. Now, the friendly team here at Artix Entertainment is about to do something we have never tried with a game before… we are going to FINISH IT! “Game-tality!”

What is it? ArchKnight is the story of Ash, a young boy with a dream of becoming a Knight. All he has to do is save a Princess… any one will do. At least that is what some adventurer told him. Next thing you know Ash is Princess hunting through the haunted forests of Doomwood with an over-sized sword – trying not to get de-pantsed by undead tree monsters. For some reason, he also has a hard time getting along with Necromancers.

On Friday the 19th, 2010 we will release the highly anticipated, final chapter of ArchKnight! Oddly enough, the game and its finale will take place INSIDE our web-based game DragonFable which, unlike ArchKnight, will likely never end and is updated every week with new stuff at www.DragonFable.com.
