30,000 DOFUS fans expected to converge on Paris in April for book signings, tournaments, Islands of Wakfu and more.

Roubaix, France – 17 February 2010 – Ankama, the global gaming, animation and publishing studio best known for their widely popular Manga-inspired MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) game, DOFUS ( www.dofus.com), will be hosting their 5th annual fan festival, the Ankama Convention.

With more than 20,000 fans traveling from around the world to attend last year’s convention, this event unites the creators of the ANKAMA universe with their fans, as well as anyone who loves videogames, animation, comic books and Manga.

This year’s Ankama Convention promises to be the biggest yet, featuring book signings, tournaments, shopping, gift packs, developer sessions and Q&As, and hands-on gaming opportunities with the latest and upcoming Ankama games.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES:

Visitors will gain exclusive access and insight into the latest – as well as upcoming – Ankama games, including:

• Frigost, the new DOFUS extension – available to try on 200 PCs

Islands of Wakfu – the new Xbox Live Arcade TM title will be available to play

• Beta participation invitation to an unannounced Ankama game!
