Amazon UK has dropped the price of the Xbox 360 Arcade unit to GBP 149.99

Amazon UK has dropped the price of the Xbox 360 Arcade unit to GBP 149.99

The Premium SKU is now priced at GBP 189.99 and the high-end Elite unit now retails for GBP 249.99

The move comes following a report from the German Financial Times that Microsoft has slashed the price of the console in Europe, although the company is yet to make an official announcement at the time of writing.

Update: Amazon.co.uk has reverted to its original prices for the Xbox 360 SKUs following the publication of this story. GamesIndustry.biz believes an official announcement from Microsoft is due shortly.
