Alabama Smith in the Quest of Fate

Archaeological follow-up.

Alexandria, VA, Oct. 8 -- Alawar Entertainment, Inc., a leading global publisher of casual games, today released "Alabama Smith in the Quest of Fate," the long-awaited sequel to "Alabama Smith in Escape from Pompeii," sending the heroic archaeologist back in time to find the legendary Crystals of Fate. The powerful and potentially dangerous artifacts are hidden somewhere in the Incan city of Macchu Picchu.

Throughout "Quest of Fate," Alabama will use the Amulet of Time, the mysterious artifact he found in "Escape from Pompeii," to travel between the present and the past. A shadowy figure is after the Crystals as well, so Alabama must hurry, as the artifacts could cause untold devastation in the wrong hands.

In addition, a new control interface provides quick transitions between scenes, allowing the player to stay focused on solving the dozens of puzzles in "Quest of Fate," some of which were designed for beginners, others of which will challenge seasoned adventure seekers. A hint button is available help new players solve the tougher challenges.
