A Boy and His Blob

It's week two of Blob Month, lest we forget.

EDISON, N.J., October 2, 2009 - Majesco Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: COOL) invites you to meet the charming stars of the upcoming Wii™ title - a boy and his blob. The countdown to the launch date continues as the second week of 'Blob Month' shows fans gameplay footage of the touching first meeting between the two characters. 'Blob Month' celebrates the reimagining of the classic Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) game with a weekly release of art, videos and screens, giving fans a glimpse at the heartwarming tale. Two weeks remain until October 13, when a boy and his blob is brought back-to-life for the first time in two decades on the Wii™ with 40 levels of jaw-dropping hand-drawn art, side-scrolling action, jellybeans and hugs.

Blobolonia is under the rule of an Evil Emperor and one heroic blob has escaped in search of a hero to free his brothers and sisters. Shockingly enough, the savior turns out to be a little boy. The boy and his blob join forces and must rely on wit and teamwork to escape peril and defeat enemies. Unbeknownst to the evildoers, the boy has a secret weapon that will steer the course of the conflict - jellybeans. The boy feeds these colorful treats to the blob causing him to transform into awesomely useful items including classics like the Licorice Ladder and all-new ones such as the Bubble Gum Bouncer. No matter what transformations they use, the two heroes will need to solve the many challenges ahead in order to defeat the Emperor and free the blob's home.

Be on the lookout next week as 'Blob Week' continues with additional assets and videos.
