Following last yearâs expansion into Singapore and Belgium with a number of studio acquisition deals, German developer 10tacle Studios has announced the addition of London-based Blimey! Games to its rapidly expanding developer portfolio.

10tacle has acquired a majority share in the development studio, a forty-five strong team responsible for several successful racing titles including GT Legends and GTR - FIA GT Racing Game - a sequel for which Blimey! Games is currently developing as an independent subcontractor to SimBin Development Team AB in Sweden.

Blimey! Games CEO and former SimBin studio head, Ian Bell, commented: "Our successful history and great relationship with 10tacle has made this alliance an obvious choice. 10tacleâs significant investment in Blimey! Games underscores the strength of this relationship, their faith in us to continue delivering award-winning products, and our commitment to bring extraordinary new experiences to the explosive next-gen market."

"With this shareholding, 10tacle Studios underlines its claim to develop internationally outstanding top-quality racing games. In our opinion, the Blimey! developers are the most talented team in this segment worldwide and we are very much looking forward to the forthcoming game developments," added Michele Pes, 10tacle CEO.

Founded in 2003, 10tacle Studios has instigated a massive, long-term, international expansion strategy that began to take shape in the last twelve months with the establishment of 10tacle Studios Belgium, a move into Singapore and a number of small developer studio acquisitions. The company aims to become a market leader in high-end interactive media, with further acquisitions and developer growth planned over the coming twelve months.
