Matt Martin has been with GamesIndustry.biz since in August 2006, and was promoted to editor in September 2008 with responsibility for the news agenda and day-to-day running of the site.

Matt has over ten years experience in journalism, working in-house and freelance for a variety of trade, business to business and consumer publications from Informa Group, Intent Media, Future Publishing, Imagine Publishing and Tudor Rose, amongst others.

His work has appeared in a diverse selection of publications including MCV, Finance on Windows, Television Business International, PlayStation Gamer, Xbox World, PC Retail, Prime, Reach, i-D and Hip Hop Connection.

Dan joined Gamesindustry.biz in 2010 as staff writer, with the primary task of filing daily news reports and regular feature interviews for the site.

He previously worked at sister site Eurogamer.net for four years, firstly as system admin and asset manager, with special responsibility for EGTV. The last two years were spent as staff writer, writing news and reviews weekly across all platforms.

He's also a keen PC, console and handheld gamer, with a passion for the industry and its future.

Rachel joined GamesIndustry.biz after five years working for Official PlayStation Magazine, and is now dedicated to reporting daily news and conducting feature interviews with senior industry figures.

She has also previously contributed to PC Gamer, Edge and Official Xbox Magazine, and in her own time she's a dedicated console and PC gamer.

Matthew joined GamesIndustry.biz after five years working for award-winning UK magazines gamesTM, where he was features editor, writing and commissioning long-form journalism on all aspects of the games industry and video game culture.

He has also worked as games editor for PC Advisor, and contributed freelance articles to a wide range of magazines and websites including X360, Play, 3D Artist, Sci-Fi Now and Hot It Works.

Richard Leadbetter joins GamesIndustry.biz with over 20 years of experience in the games business.

Richard's career kicked off in 1990 where he learned his trade on magazines such as Computer and Video Games and Mean Machines before beginning a run on EMAP's official console titles. Afterwards he launched PSW and Xbox World for Computec Media, where he held the position of editorial director.

In 2004, he founded Digital Foundry Ltd, a multimedia consultancy for the games industry that also develops state-of-the-art high definition video equipment. A love of publishing runs through his veins and Rich returned to publishing in 2009 with the arrival of the DF blog on Eurogamer.

With a decade of industry experience under his belt, Alec contributes weekly features to GamesIndustry.biz. He was previous deputy editor with the site, and has also worked at Future Publishing and co-founded gaming site Rock, Paper, Shotgun.

Alec also has extensive freelance experience, and has written for a vast range of online and print publications, including Eurogamer, IGN, Edge, PC Gamer, Official Xbox Magazine, PC Format, PC Plus, SFX, Computer Shopper and Tech Radar.

Chris Buckley has been with GamesIndustry.biz since January 2010. Prior to his appointment, Chris was the head of advertising sales for Intent Media, publisher of MCV, Develop, PC Retail and a number of other trade titles and events.

Chris left Intent in February 2008 and emigrated to Newfoundland, Canada, working outside of the games business for a short time. He now looks after all advertising sales for Gamesindustry.biz and the GamesIndustry.biz Career Fair, part of the Eurogamer Expo.

Chris is the primary point of contact for all marketing enquiries, and is able to build the perfect package to tailor to any budget or timeframe - and he always over-delivers on any campaigns he builds!

Tom has been at Eurogamer Network since early 2000 and currently manages the company's websites as well as its technical and design teams, having previously edited Eurogamer.net for three years.

He oversees GamesIndustry.biz' development and works closely with the site's editors to shape its editorial agenda.

Rupert

Managing Director

Rupert co-founded Eurogamer Network Limited in September 1999. In 2002 he oversaw the launch of GamesIndustry.biz and helped the site to quickly establish itself as the leading news and information resource for the interactive entertainment industry.

Along with GamesIndustry.biz, Eurogamer Network publishes a wide range of leading consumer videogames websites including Eurogamer.net, Eurogamer TV and Eurogamer.de.
