Editor in Chief
James Brightman has been covering the games industry since 2003 and has been an avid gamer since the days of Atari and Intellivision. He was previously EIC and co-founder of IndustryGamers and spent several years leading GameDaily Biz at AOL prior to that.
A ten year veteran, Dan joined Eurogamer as a lowly admin in 2006, working his way up to senior reporter before moving over to GamesIndustry.biz in 2010. He covers all areas of the business, but has a particular passion for indies and new technologies. He spends much of the rest of his time killing dwarves in poorly constructed fortresses. His dog is brilliant.
Brendan joined GamesIndustry International in 2012. Based in Toronto, Ontario, he was previously senior news editor at CBS-owned GameSpot in the US.
European Deputy Editor
Matthew Handrahan joined GamesIndustry in 2011, bringing long-form feature-writing experience to the team as well as a deep understanding of the video game development business. He previously spent more than five years at award-winning magazine gamesTM.
James Batchelor has been a journalist in the games industry since 2006, and joined GamesIndustry in 2016. He previously served as editor of Develop and deputy editor of MCV, and has managed industry events such as The Develop Awards and Interface conference.
Christopher Dring has spent a decade in the games industry, initially in development, before joining GamesIndustry in 2016. He led UK games business publication MCV for five years, and has contributed to Develop, eSports Pro, BBC, The Observer and Sky News. He also really likes playing Nintendo games, but don't hold that against him.
Rob Fahey is a former editor of GamesIndustry.biz who spent several years living in Japan and probably still has a mint condition Dreamcast Samba de Amigo set.
