Testronic Laboratories

Testronic labs are looking to push further into the games testing service following its acquisition of rival firm Professional Media Test Centre (PMTC). Testronic currently has about 85 per cent of the global market share of QA activity from the film studios, whilst PMTC boasts the soul European QA rights to certified USB peripheral device testing, coupled with PMTC certification for Xbox 360 testing puts Testronic as one of the leading European Interactive Games testing facilities. In recent months both Testronic and PMTC have made a strong presence in outsourcing of QA for some major publishers, Testronic group CEO Neil Goodall clamed "our links to the film industry are increasingly putting us in touch with games companies, Blu-Ray especially provides a cross over, and we have some leading figures in the Blu-Ray industry working for us. Increasingly game design studios are looking to get QA outsourced - development is getting more complex, and more work needs to be outsourced. There are big opportunities in the market for all of us." The combined company will absorb PMTC into the Testronic Labs brand. Testronic Labs currently offers all aspects of Interactive Games QA, with our strong position globally offer a competitive price structure. Localisation, Functional, Compliance and User based testing.
