With our tech and engineering prowess in high demand, our studio continues to grow. About the position Massive is looking for multiple Technical Artist positions including a Lead Technical Artist to join our Tom Clancy's The Division team. As a Technical Artist at massive you will be pushing the visual quality and the tech behind it, while supporting the art team and its workflow and pipeline. You will frequently interact with other Technical artist, artist, level designers and programmers. The position is full time on site at our studio in Malmö, Sweden and is open to intermediate and senior applicants. Responsibilities
You as a candidate You are a passionate gamer and an even more passionate Technical Artist or passionate artist who wants to transition into Technical Artist. You have spent a lot of time playing benchmark titles on both PC and Consoles. You are open to new ideas and you constantly strive to push your work to the highest possible level. Good enough is not in your vocabulary; excellent is your lowest acceptable standard. As a Technical Artist you are inspired by new technology and cleaver solutions. You are constantly on the lookout for ways to improve the visual quality, the tech behind it or the workflow to achieve it. It’s also important that you have strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to share your knowledge to the rest of the team. Preferably you have a combination of classical or 3D art training with a good technical knowledge and a focus on games. Experience of multi-platform development is meriting. You as a Lead Your leadership skills are as important as your technical skills. We expect you to have and to feel comfortable with your broad knowledge base both in terms of art assets creation and game development in general. Your main task as a lead is to manage day-to-day work and the long term planning for the tech art team and to set them up for success.
