Job Description Testing Coordinator

Goal:

Together with the Testing Manager, coordinate the entrusted project and deliver it on time, on budget and with top quality results.

The Coordinator is responsible for the team and will train, develop and evaluate them on a regular basis.

The Coordinator must be client focused and able to forge relationships with clients around the world. The Coordinator will be flexible and will easily adapt to changes in workload, timelines and priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Keep track of the budget and raise any non-forecasted issues
• Prepare the project before its execution, creating an agreed schedule and test plan
• Coordinate schedule and requested tasks
• Keep the Testing Manager updated on progress, risks and bug tracking status
• Keep the Testing Manager aware of the project’s status and support him on eventual escalations
• Responsible for the testing media and project related hardware
• Responsible for the project’s testing team
• Verify testing issue quality standards
• Follow and ensure that security procedures are met by the testing team
• Evaluate and propose improvements to the established procedures

Brief outline of the skills and experience that the ideal candidate will have includes:

• +2 years of experience with software testing methodologies
• Proven experience with multiplatform titles (Wii, NDS, Xbox 360, PS3, PC)
• Ability to design, create and maintain documentation and test plans
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and spoken
• Ability to evaluate risks and create mitigation plans
• Proven experience managing and developing testing teams
• Fluent in English

The following skills are a plus:

• Compliance skills, knowledge of technical compliance process
• Experience with MMO/Social titles
• Proactive and problem solving attitude
• Good technical skills
• Fluent in French, Italian, German or Spanish
• Understanding of First Party submission and certification processes
