|Job Description||Job Title: Live Game Manager / Director
Reports to: CMO, General Manager - SE Live
Job Summary:Responsible for running a multi-disciplined publisher side Free2Play game team consisting of development, Marketing, PR & Community managers.The primary function of the role is building, owning and delivering the P&L for the assigned game. This will require the candidate to demonstrate strong leadership skills and a broad understanding of both F2P mechanics and the market, to prioritise work and focus across the team. Previous experience in leadership positions and or experience working within a publisher and a development environment are desirableImportantly the candidate will own the vision for the game and will be well versed in championing a game across the organisation, building confidence and support as necessary to create a success. Being able to eloquently articulate a games position on both a financial and development level is crucial.Finally but most importantly the candidate, working with his/her team, will be required to set the games A.R.M strategy.
Key Deliverables:Working with CMO/ GM for SE LIve, ensure the right goals are set and plans are optimised for each product; Set priorities across the team to ensure all resource is focused correctly in line with priorities;Meet high level business goals & revenue for the game each year;Ensure the continuous analysis of competitors, trends and the market updates;In conjunction with the Producer, align production and operation resources, along with tasks and priorities to ensure successful delivery of the title(s) and its on-going development;Define & control KPI related targets for the title(S);Take responsibility for maximising and balancing player acquisition, retention and monetisation and delivering results;Using data, ensure we maximise consumer experience and opportunities to drive revenue on game(s);Ensure title(s) are commercially viable and will deliver a strong ROI to the business;In conjunction with other members of the team ensure the continuous, target-oriented development of the product and maintain an agreed vision and strategic direction for title.Circulate metrics and headlines daily to ensure good visibility of product performance, across the team.
Key Stakeholders: CMO/ GM & COO SE Live, Other SE Live members, development teams & Game Studio leads. Square Enix Exec team and territory teams.
Knowledge and Experience
Previously held a senior managerial or senior expert role within computer games industry;Previous experience in Online Product or online Game Management ideally working on F2P;Strong project management experience;Understanding of marketing and e-commerce disciplines.Understanding and application of new monetisation models;Previous experience of leading and managing a team, which has delivered results for the business.
Degree level of education, or equivalent
