| Job Description | Our client is an industry leader with an excellent product portfolio including a strong mix of original IP and popular established entertainment licences. Well respected by industry peers and the gaming community they offer security and proven opportunities for career progression. Due to internal promotion they are seeking a new Export Sales & Marketing Account Manager. OVERVIEW Manage the publisher;s profile within key distribution partners throughout Europe to help generate revenue and promote it'sbrands within these territories. Ensure that there is a regular and constant information flow with each account in order to achieve quarterly forecasts and objectives. Fully support both the Managing Director of Export and the Sales and Marketing Manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Communication (mainly via phone or specific appointment) with each account to ensure each account is fully up-to-date with our clients current and planned business. This to include regular updates on new releases, competent letter/e-mail writing and the preparation and despatch of information packs, etc. Establish and maintain key relationships and become an expert in all your customers businesses 2. Liaise with the distributor on a daily basis to drive revenues, seek opportunities for incremental business and maximise sales opportunities. Prepare the quarterly business plans for each territory under your jurisdiction and negotiate final orders to coincide with the overall plan. 3. Work closely with your distribution partners to ensure all export accounts place their order in a timely fashion to ensure street dates are met. 4. Establishment, reinforcement and enhancement of specific business terms such as suitable trading terms, account marketing activity, overall stock control, etc. Business planning with each account including the preparation of title by title day one and lifetime unit plans, individual marketing plans, product localizations, etc. Overall selling of products and full exploitation of back catalogue including specific in territory revenue earning activities such as packs, licensing, etc. Work with the distributor to understand and advise what POS materials and promos are required. 5. Development of ‘second tier’ areas with a view to a long terms business plan and the need for the publisher to expand its business in these areas on-going. 6. Drive revenues, maximise wholesale prices against band limitations and revenues in every account. 7. Inventory management and Forecasting - Monitor stock levels and the performance of a product in the local territory. Produce stock and sales reports for all distribution partners to make sure all revenue opportunities are exploited and issues highlighted. 8. Ensure regular updates to management on the status of all new releases, highlighting any changes to the business plan. 9. Work closely with Credit Control to ensure they are kept up to date with the quarterly plans for the business in the specific territories. This is essential during peak season to enable them to obtain suitable credit limits where applicable. Pro actively resolve with AR account queries as and when they occur as to avoid the need for the account to be placed on hold. 10. Preparing “postmortem” reports on all key product launches 11. The development of full territory knowledge from population and economic details through to specific in territory account details, territorial pricing, buyer details, etc., with the aim being for us to eventually have knowledge in each territory similar to that which we have in the UK. 12. Monitor the performance of current distributors to ensure that our client has the best partners in the market. Mid to long term planning to take the business forward in each territory. 13. Conduct product presentations and game demonstrations to distribution partners albeit in the local country or at our client's offices. This is to ensure partners are fully briefed on product strategy and communication for future releases. SCOPE OF ROLE 1. Principal territory responsibility will be Greece, Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Iceland, Baltics, Turkey, Malta, Romania, Slovenia & Montenegro. 2. High year on year revenue growth whilst increasing GP would be expected of the territories Working Relationships – Day to Day: a). External contacts will be with all levels of the management tier within the various distributors. b). Internally it will be vital that a strong communication with the Marketing division is maintained specifically to ensure full awareness of individual territorial campaigns. Also the Operations department across localizations and finally with the Sales department to ensure that the Export division is not a separate entity within the overall department SKILLS REQUIRED • Graduate calibre • Literate, strong ability to place thoughts into words • Microsoft Word/Excel knowledge essential; must be competent at spreadsheet (i.e. forecasting) management • Well organized, able to prioritize and accomplish tasks without supervision • Self motivated and able to work under own initiative • Effective communicator at all levels of the business and able to influence when necessary • Must be able to think logically and enjoy extensive business planning as it is this that will ensure success with each distributor and in the role • Knowledge of the European marketplace and variances by territory essential • Experience of working in the games, hi-tech or new media industries (or similar fast-paced environments) would be a distinct advantage.
