Experienced DS/Wii Programmer

Job Description Established for over 10 years, our client is a fast-growing, experienced, and respected independent game developer.

They have developed over 40+ titles for leading publishers including EA and SEGA and built an impressively strong track record.

Previously known for its work on high-profile licensed handheld products, today they develop their own proprietary multi-format technology for all major game platforms with the global aim of developing its own innovative and original IP’s.

They aim to produce and develop quality video games within a professional environment where all staff feel motivated.

Our client is looking for a Nintendo DS and/or Wii Game Play Programmer. The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the platform, capabilities and architecture. The candidate must be a team player, with awareness of the responsibilities of the development team towards game development. The ability to work with artists and programmers alike is a key attribute, and the ability to develop games based on existing technology is also a must.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Good C++ skills.

Previous experience of the DS/Wii is preferred but not essential.

Excellent communication skills.

Proven abilities in optimization.

At least 12 months experience is required.

NB A portfolio demonstrating low level skills will greatly improve your prospects.
