Job Description Established over 10 years, our client is Australia's leading multi-platform game development studio responsible for a number of award winning titles. They have wide experience across sports, action and military themed titles.

Currently they are focussed on a new project based on a highly acclaimed, award winning franchise.

LOCATION

Melbourne is a vibrant cosmopolitan city with a thriving arts scene, music, bars and restaurants. Compared to many European and US locations living costs are far cheaper.

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE & BENEFITS

Where required our client will assist in securing a Working Visa, relocation expenses and short term accommodation for successful applicants.

All employees will receive contributions to a Pension Plan. In addition certain employees may be eligible for a generous living away from home tax concession. This is assessed on a case by case basis.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:-

• That he/she hold a tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience in computer science, and/or 5 - 6 years experience in production in the games industry

• An ability to effectively communicate ideas with others

• An ability to estimate the work involved within tasks

• An ability to track progress of tasks

• Budgeting and financial skills

• Be able to plan, monitor and adjust execution of projects and accept accountability

• Be able to delegate

• Be able to identify learning needs of the team

• Be able to make decisions regarding resource levels required for the project

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Producer (Producer) is responsible for the management of the Project team and the successful development of the game.

• Risk assessment and risk management

• Project budgeting and estimation

• Coordination and scheduling of development team for allocated projects

• Manages and allocates production resources, ensuring production timelines and resource constraints are met

• Liaises with Executive Producer and Lead Designer to ensure consistency of product with design

• Maintains and delivers schedule documentation to publisher

• Directs the work of the Leads on a day-to-day basis

PUBLISHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Producer is responsible for maintaining a day to day relationship with the publishing partner

• The Producer should consult with the EP and team leads to determine the impact of any publisher requested changes

• Meeting and managing publisher requests
