Job Description Our Client is a leading developer and publisher of interactive entertainment software for games consoles and PCs. Our client has designed some of the most popular video games of all time. Since the beginning of the video game revolution, many of the most notable, best-selling video games for both the arcade and home game systems have come from our Client. These releases include revolutionary, record-breaking games and popular franchises world-wide. These games have set the standard for excellence in the industry, capturing the attention of millions of players around the world. Our Client is headquartered in the US with additional facilities though out the US, Europe and the UK.

Looking for a Gameplay Programmer to help develop the game-specific source base of our next AAA budget open-world title for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribution to several systems, including: Player 1st/3rd Person Combat, Enemy and Companion AI, Special Effects, User Interface, Vehicle Combat, Multiplayer.

• Create and maintain Technical Design Documents for tasks.

• Be proactive at fixing issues that are discovered.

• Focus on memory and performance requirements.

• Post and fix bugs on all aspects of the game.

• Take part in the code review process.

• Improve upon existing source code whenever appropriate.

• Block out implemented gameplay systems and work closely with Designers to integrate them.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience working in the game industry required.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Highly self motivated.

• Practical experience with 3D math.

• 3+ years experience with C/C++.

• Working knowledge of gameplay systems: AI, GUIs, logic systems, player mechanics, etc.

• Strong desire to contribute to the game.

• Legal U.S. work authorization required.
