Job Description Our Client is a leading developer and publisher of interactive entertainment software for games consoles and PCs. Our client has designed some of the most popular video games of all time. Since the beginning of the video game revolution, many of the most notable, best-selling video games for both the arcade and home game systems have come from our Client. These releases include revolutionary, record-breaking games and popular franchises world-wide. These games have set the standard for excellence in the industry, capturing the attention of millions of players around the world. Our Client is headquartered in the US with additional facilities though out the US, Europe and the UK.

Seeking an experienced Environment Artist to work with an experienced team creating new worlds for groundbreaking Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC titles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Model, texture, and polish interior & exterior architecture and world objects based on conceptual artwork and reference photography.

• Work together with the lead artist and other team members to create amazing, gameplay focused environments.

• Incorporate the feedback from your leads and peers to make requested changes in a positive and constructive way.

• Participate in meetings, reviews, and planning as part of effective communication with the team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• AA/BFA preferred; or a portfolio that demonstrates an industry standard level of art. (High school diploma or GED required.)

• The ideal candidate has shipped at least one title; preferably on PS2 / Xbox or both. (1st or 3rd person games a plus.)

• Familiarity with Maya & Photoshop and a high capacity to learn new procedures & tools.

• Traditional art skills and creativity a must.

• Familiarity with Epic’s Unreal Engine, normal map creation, and next-gen content creation a bonus.

• A passion for making and playing great games.

• All candidates must deliver a full resume with art samples to be considered for this position. (Website and/or downloadable demo reel preferred)
