This AAA leading studio is looking for an exceptional Level Designers.

Our extensive infrastructure, investment in next-generation tools and technology and strong management provides a solid foundation to continue pioneering great new titles for years to come.

Level Design teams are comprised of a Scripter and a Level Builder working closely together on one or more levels in the game – these teams take ownership of the design from concept to completion. We are looking for self-motivated designers with intense creative vision and fresh ideas for gameplay.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

* Brainstorm new gameplay ideas with level scripter, and craft levels that bring those ideas from concept to reality

* Build realistic 3D levels using Radiant level editor – experience with other 3D applications a bonus

* Detail & polish geometry (including lighting) based on photo reference, concept art, and design documents

* Research subject matter for history and look of the level

* Prioritize to meet deadlines – must also be proactive in communicating progress and seeking resolution to issues

Qualifications:

* Must have a strong passion for First-Person Shooters and be able to communicate critically likes and dislikes of other games

* Must be able to take constructive criticism from peers and design leads – refining gameplay is a collaborative & iterative process

* Level editor experience with Radiant

* MOD community experience is great – industry experience is better

* Must have a demo reel, portfolio of screenshots, or playable examples of levels in relevant engines (Quake based) to qualify for an interview

* Must be able to explain the creative process that went into past work and discuss how the concepts contribute to a fun & unique experience
