Position Overview

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Tools Programmer to provide technical knowledge and expertise to the Program Office. Working at our Head Office in West London, they will work closely with senior management to define the strategy for automated testing and work closely with both QA and game developers to develop, implement and ensure the successful adoption of automated testing processes across all products in development for SEGA Europe.   They will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects and will be the primary interface with SEGA’s talented development studios.   

Key Responsibilities  

  1. o review and verify all archive projects received by SEGA to ensure that the project can be built from the files provided by the developer
     
  2. Investigate any potential cracks or unauthorised duplication and/or distribution of SEGA projects that may be present on the internet or any other medium
     
  3. To develop and implement automated testing processes for QA to use in conjunction with development teams in order to improve the efficiency of how we test products in development

  4. To mentor and train a Build programmer role as appropriate.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience 
  • 5 years industry experience & at least 3 published games on multiple platforms
  • Experience of propping games to STEAM
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Good knowledge of C++ or C#
  • Experience in at least one scripting language
  • Experience in automated build/test tools or continuous integration systems.
