Job Title IT Support Engineer

Job Description Award Winning Developer of the Football manager Series, Sports Interactive are seeking a dynamic, motivated individual to work as an IT Support Engineer.

Key responsibilities are:


To provide support for all IT functions required in a software development studio as a member of a small highly motivated team working in conjunction with other technical teams with in the SEGA group of companies. The candidate will be expected to support, maintain and deploy all software packages, customised applications and technologies including, but not limited to the below listing.


Requirements:

**MAC experience essential**

A successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate aptitude and experience in a providing support for similar environments with 3+ years in an environment comparable to the above company description.

Candidates must be able to work effectively in a team environment. The primary measure of this ability will be the demonstration of verbal and written communication skills.

Flexibility in prioritisation of assigned tasks.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Excellent analytical skills and perseverance applied to resolution of issues.

Candidate must be able to work flexible hours depending on the requirements of the business.

Technical Skills:

* OS platforms: Windows 2000/XP/2003, Linux (Debian / Mandriva), MAC OS X
* Active Directory & MS Exchange.
* Experience in supporting versioning / revision control systems (Perforce, Subversion)
* Familiarity with SQL-based RDBMS packages (MS SQL and MySQL).
* Server skills for back office (Install and configuration, administration, Backup etc)
* General understanding of LAN/WAN concepts relating to routers, switches, VLANs, VPN and firewalls.
* Support for MS Office suite of productivity applications (Windows & Mac)
* Support for MS Entourage & Outlook used in conjunction with Exchange.


Technical Skills desirable:
Cisco IOS
Familiarity with Firewall packages.

Salary £Excellent + Pension + BUPA + Gym + Bonus + Flexi Time 12pm-4pm +++
