Job Description My client is looking for an Oxford based Test Manager within the applications team, working on complex animation packages. Primary duties will involve developing and implementing test strategies alongside an agile software development approach. This is a hands-on position which will also involve designing and executing test scripts (both automated and manual).

The ideal candidate will have a strong automation testing background including previous experience as a test lead or test manager and will be looking to leverage this experience in a demanding role working on cutting edge technology.

The Test Manager will have worked on the full SDLC of several projects, have knowledge of testing in the real world and how to best manage resources against company objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:
- full SDLC experience with at least 1 project seen through test from concept to completion
- 3 years of testing experience (at least 1 of which in a lead or manager role)
- experience scoping, implementing and maintaining an automated test solution
- solid understanding and practical experience of testing within an agile software environment
- knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools
- ability to manage several test projects simultaneously
- experience in day to day team management and recruitment
- ability to train in several test techniques
- strong organisational skills

DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
- experienced in the use and/or testing of animation software
- C/C++ programming skills
- Lua/Python scripting skills
- understanding of animation systems
- ISEB/ISTQB testing qualifications
