Job Description	REALTIME WORLDS – creators of the no.1 hit game CRACKDOWN, are looking for a Senior / Game Designer to join our team on our next ground breaking title. Work with a talented Team on a high-profile, next generation MMO game. Interact closely with all departments in order to resolve design and technical issues and maintain the core design features for the creation of a AAA title. Key Responsibilities * Create design documents; requirements and specifications * Create original and compelling content * Review and provide feedback on systems and game balance * Explore edge cases and find acceptable solutions from both a technical and aesthetic standpoint * Collaborate with the team on various aspects of the game and be able to communicate effectively with technically-oriented team members * Work with the QA department in developing test scripts * Self-manage scheduled tasks and report problems and progress clearly * Work with the Lead Gameplay Designer to ensure quality and consistency throughout all areas of the game Experience Required * 3+ years professional design experience. * At least 1 shipped AAA title Knowledge/Skills Required * Excellent written/verbal communication * Strong analytical mentality/conceptual way of thinking * Passion for and broad knowledge of various genres of games and an ability to critically analyze them * Ability to understand and balance complex game systems * Ability to create compelling and engaging content * Ability to work closely with all disciplines and be responsive to feedback * Able to work under pressure, managing multiple activities in an organized manner * Ability to work with initiative and not need constant supervision * Good understanding of feature iteration within reasonable schedules * Advanced understanding of game logic and problem solving * Willingness to take the initiative to learn new skills, and contribute wherever needed in the product development process * Excellent math skills Knowledge in the following areas a plus: * 5+ years industry experience * 2+ shipped AAA titles * Extensive experience with Perforce * Practical experience with data management in relational DB structures * Experience with live game operation * In depth games knowledge across multiple platforms and genres particularly MMO and action games If interested, please use the button below to send your CV and any current package details.
