Job Title Assistant Producer

Job Description REALTIME WORLDS creators of the no.1 hit game CRACKDOWN, are looking for an Assistant Producer to join our team on our next ground breaking title.

Realtime Worlds are on a very secure footing with our game projects signed with top-tier partners, a recent $50m investment and an all-star board of directors whose former job titles included Founder of DMA Design (creator of such hits as the Lemmings and Grand Theft Auto series), Vice President at Nintendo of America and Managing Director of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.

The Assistant Producer's primary mission is to schedule, follow up on, track, and actively assist team members with the successful completion of their agreed upon goals. The Assistant Producer is a Producer in training, and will learn proper production methodology while implementing their new skills in a hands-on environment under the direction of Producers on the team. At times the Assistant Producer will assist with bug database management, outsourcing, localization, as well as a host of other tasks.

Responsibilities

* Assist the leads and other departments in determining between high and low priority items, focusing on areas yielding the greatest return, and making sound judgements based on what requires a "sense of urgency".
* Participate in ongoing milestone evaluation, and work with Project Manager or Producer to maintain the project schedule.
* Provide managerial support for the team leads.
* Cultivate a positive and cohesive team, inspire the cooperation and confidence of others, and promote the project’s "common vision"

Qualifications Preferred

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area e.g. Business Administration / Project Management.

Experience Required

* 3+ years' development experience with a minimum of 1 complete development cycle, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills Required

* Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks from the team in an organized fashion, prioritizing these tasks effectively.
* Must have excellent organizational, problem solving, and project management skills.
* Excellent planning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Must be self-directed and detail oriented with a strong desire to contribute to a uniquely creative environment.
* Very strong Initiative with a desire to learn and be challenged

Knowledge of the following areas a plus

* Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the customary procedures and development strategies in games titles
* Working knowledge of Perforce software or other source control software
* A solid technical background
