REALTIME WORLDS – creators of the no.1 hit game CRACKDOWN, are looking for an AI Programmer to work on their next ground breaking title, APB.

Realtime Worlds are on a very secure footing with our game projects signed with top-tier partners, a recent $50m investment and an all-star board of directors whose former job titles included Founder of DMA Design (creator of such hits as the Lemmings and Grand Theft Auto series), Vice President at Nintendo of America and Managing Director of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.

Work with a talented AI team on a high-profile, next generation MMO. Develop cutting-edge networked simulation systems and NPC behaviours. Resolve technical issues and maintain the core level of technical features for the creation of a AAA title.

Responsibilities

• Solve technical problems within the AI team.
• Implement robust AI systems to a high standard.
• Assist in the successful launch of a global MMO title.

Experience Required

• 2+ years professional Software Engineering in a team environment and/or demonstration of equivalent skills by means of demos of hobby/academic projects.

Education Required

• Good BSc or equivalent in relevant subject.

Skills & Knowledge Required

• C++
• Object-oriented Software Design
• Previous experience working on AI or simulation systems.
• Ability to rapidly conceptualise and solve problems in a 3D space.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Location Dundee, UK & Europe, Scotland
