Job Description My client is Austria's leading game development studio located in the center of Vienna with a team of over 50 developers who are currently working on several high quality video games for the global market.

They are now looking for an Online Game Programmer to implement various features in their current online game projects and to work on task estimations.

Your profile:
-General understanding of web technology, e.g. TCP, UDP, sockets, security, etc.
-Experienced in client technology, e.g. Flash, ActionScript, HTML, JavaScript, etc.
-Experienced in server technology, e.g. Linux, Apache, php, daemons, cron jobs, etc.
-General programming skills: OOP using C++ and/or C#
-Experience with Unity is a plus

Ideally you will have:
-Experience in gameplay programming
-Broad technical knowledge (ex. hardware, other programming languages, etc.)
-Experience in developing Linux based server applications (network communication, databases, multi-threading, etc.)
-Experience in tools development (deployment, editors, etc.)
-A desire to progress as a person and take on higher responsibilities
