Job Description Are you s Gameplay Engineer looking for a new exciting role for a studio based in Newcastle?

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing a variety of high-level gameplay and AI features in one of our innovative driving games for major home consoles.

Requirements
- Passionate about playing and making games.
- At least one project completed on major home consoles or PC.
- Excellent C/C++ programming skills.
- An ability to work with non-technical people and translate their ideas into software requirements.
- Ability to plan your work and then deliver on time.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Implement practical and timely solutions that meet the game design and technical requirements.
- Maintain, refactor and improve existing solutions.
- Work as a part of an agile development team, taking responsibility for organising and planning your own work.

Desirable Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other relevant subject, or equivalent knowledge gained through work.
- Knowledge of AI-related methods and algorithms.
- Data management, optimisation and algorithm design skills.
-Experience working with scripting languages (particularly Lua).
