Visual Effects Programmer

Job Description An exciting opportunity to work as part of a friendly professional team producing a game based on a beloved UK franchise, renowned for its sense of adult humour. Strong C++ and team skills are required and graphics-programming experience is essential. A published title on PS2 or Wii (or Gamecube) is an immediate advantage.

-Implement game code using C/C++ together with our own internal middleware
-Profile, debug and maintain existing game code
-Work with the Technical Manager and programmers to design the game code and contribute to technical design documents
-Use our own internal tools to set up technical framework for game levels
-Assist in preparing milestone builds as required
-A high level of computer literacy
-Experience of coding on PC’s with Direct 3D/OpenGL or similar API’s a preference, but not required
-Console programming experience preferred
-Good debugging skills.
