This Skandinavian Development Studio is a creator of some of the best story driven games ever made and one of the leading independent game studios in the world. They are now looking for an experienced Art Manager to assist them in realising their artistic vision for their next sure-fire hit on future generation consoles.

They are looking for a talented manager who is keen to help their art team in the creation of spectacular and industry-leading visuals.

Your responsibilities will include managing a quality driven and first class art team including team development and being involved in the recruitment process on-going development and appraisals. You will also assist in creating and maintaining project management documentation e.g schedules and milestone descriptions.

You will use your previous art outsourcing experience to source / assess new external outsourcing partners and will be responsible for contract negotiations arranging vendor tests as well as scheduling and supervision of work schedules and quality levels and participating in vendor meetings. In this role you will have control over the project outsourcing budget so previous experience in handling this will be very useful.

From an internal point of you you will liaise with the relevant teams on coordinating outsourcing for environment art audio and animation.
