The client is one of the most successful mobile developers in the UK developing console-quality mobile games in Unity. Their declared aim is to produce games which will redefine the boundaries and standards of mobile gaming and they are looking for an experienced and talented Project Manager to help them achieve this. In this lynch-pin role you will enable the team to deliver outstanding projects to the agreed budget and timelines and will do anything to support that team.
You will be the go-to person for your team for direction and organisation, you call the meetings on time and end them with specific results before time; you’re the master of “getting things done”, letting everyone focus on their tasks and not worry about the rest.
The studio would expect you to have owned and run full games development cycles within a Production role, ideally in the mobile arena but they will look at candidates with a solid track record on console platforms too.
Naturally, you will be a true people person with outstanding communication skills. Practical experience and understanding of Agile / Scrum is beneficial, theoretical understanding critical. Bonus points include previous experience of working with outsource partners, including setting up appropriate pipelines and sign off processes, and ensured the correct contractual and financial work is completed.
You'll be helping to build some of the most successful mobile games on the App Store with a talented and inspirational team. And you won't just be a small cog in a big machine, you'll make a huge difference.
