This London based developer are looking for talented & hard working programmers to become part of an engineering team working on world leading software titles.

Working on next generation consoles and handhelds The role will require the leading of the engineering team and working with production and the other disciplines to achieve the products vision. It will also require hands on implementation of code on the title.

The title is under strict NDA but is on a next generation console.

Main Duties:

•Making a key contribution to:
•Technical design
•Module implementation
•Estimation and planning
•Mentoring and managing the engineering team
•Working with the other discipline leads and production team to deliver a successful product.

Essential Skills:

•Strong C++
•Object-oriented design
•Good communicator
•Team player
•Man management

Desirable Skills:

•Flexibility (programming teams are generally small so the candidates will likely be asked to work on a variety of different areas during a typical project)
•Extended experience in one or more areas in particular:
•AI / Game-play
•Networking
•User interface
•An interest in or skilled at art

The successful candidate will combine strong technical skills with experience in managing engineering teams.

•University degree or similar qualification.
