Would you like to join one of the UK’s longest standing and successful development houses? With a pedigree in games development reaching back to the mid-nineties working on hugely successful IPs in the story-driven adventure genre, they are now looking for an experienced Associate Producer to join their team.

You will have the opportunity to work within a highly successful and creative team, working through the full development cycle of AAA titles.

Role Purpose

This role is a key facilitator within the development team responsible for a number of Scrum teams in areas as diverse as design features, tools and outsourcing. You’re expected to ‘make things happen’ and drive for high-quality delivery within time and budget constraints on your teams. This role will remove barriers to enable the development team to reach their goals, understanding what it takes to get results and making key tactical and strategic decisions as well as great communication skills as these are all fundamentals to the success of this role.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Executive Producer, you will work directly with the Senior Production staff and feature leads to establish and maintain the vision, scope, schedule, budget, and resource plan for the areas of the project you represent.

  • Driving and motivating potentially cross discipline team of developers to deliver on product goals.
  • Establish sustainable processes and tools to drive the success of the team.
  • Manage day-to-day development issues; identify problems in advance and drive creative solutions to fix them.
  • Ensure that the features / scrums are achieving or surpassing quality, budget and schedule goals. Actively managing the schedule and milestone deliverables. Responsible for day-to-day driving on team priorities
  • Facilitate communication across the feature teams and wider where necessary; clearly communicate tasks and responsibilities to staff.
  • Identify potential areas of risk, create/execute mitigation plans before issues happen, and keep the team operating at a high level of productivity.
  • Collaborate through multiple disciplines to align and clearly communicate key feature goals to all key stakeholders.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Successful Producer experience with a clear track record of delivering AAA experiences on time and on budget. Experience of multiple game development cycles.
  • A self-starter with experience of driving internal teams, which requires a strong leader and a constant drive for results.
  • Strong Project Management and organization skills are required, with great attention to detail. Experience of scrum/agile methodologies are required and qualifications are a plus.
  • Strong product sensibilities with multiple experiences of taking feature / scrum teams from concept to completion.
  • Strong cross-team communication and presentation skills – able to present to large groups. You provide clear, concise, and specific communication and when you participate in a meeting, you clarify, capture and follow up on all action items.
  • Able to resolve conflict, bring people together, good listening skills and able to mitigate and resolve issues.
  • Ability to work within ambiguity and develop frameworks for decision making. It is the role’s responsibility to take ambiguous problems and develop concise action plans for the team to resolve them
  • Prior experience around gameplay feature teams would be a distinct advantage.
  • Passion for Games. Both playing video games and a passion for understanding what makes them great.


This role is offered on a 12 month contract and offers competitive day rates / annual salary equivalent for the successful candidate.
