OPM are recruiting for an experienced Business Analyst to provide the executive management team timely and insightful financial and statistical reports, as well as analysis and support in communicating data and information across European and US territories.

·Assist with the Sales Forecasts and Budgeting: Assisting with the preparation of monthly sales forecast, quarterly target and yearly budget submissions in Hyperion. Process involves coordinating with territories, Head of European Sales and US Planning department. Analysis of and reporting on, whilst updating and maintaining the integrity in Hyperion.
·Analysis of the P&L and individual title P&Ls, investigating variances to forecast, budget & guidance.
·Supporting and coordinating weekly territory sales forecasts, delivering accurate updates to Management.
·Managing the collation and distribution of digital sales data across Europe. Analysing and reporting sales and promotions, working closely with the digital team to drive insights and enhance performance in this rapidly growing area of the business.
·Responsible for gathering and distributing pre-order data and forecasts for upcoming releases and reporting sell through on new releases to management.
·Utilizing various financial and statistical systems in order to generate ad-hoc reports to support decision making.
·Contribute to and aid with the implementation of new sales related IT projects and systems.
·Benchmarking titles against market trends and competitor products. Developing sales curve and genre analysis to support decision making.
·Aid with operations and first parties on title bandings and agreeing yearly cost of goods charges.
·Contribute and implement ideas for continuous improvement.

Key skills
·Impressive business acumen with a commercial mind-set, candidates will ideally have a sound financial awareness and a track record of producing high quality analysis whilst meeting deadlines
·Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with an appreciation of data integrity.
·Capable of drawing high-level business conclusions and trends from detailed financial and statistical data.
·Good oral and written communication and presentation skills.
·Highly adept in the use and manipulation of excel spread sheets and reporting tools.
·Experience with financial systems such as JDE, Cognos and Hyperion beneficial
·An active interest in the industry. Knowledge of/within the industry a distinct advantage
