OPM has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruiter to work with one of the most successful PC games publisher and developers today. Their IP is reshaping PC gaming. Our client (named a Top 30 developer by Game Developer Magazine) is the publisher and developer a very popular MMO and they are experiencing a period of rapid growth, doubling the size of the company in the past year. With several million players in their first game across the Europe and the US, and numerous awards, they have pioneered new ground with their debut title and are continuing to aggressively expand.
As a Recruiter, you’ll discover and court the best and brightest talent who value personal growth, collaboration and the player experience above all. You’ll be responsible for full cycle recruiting, managing new candidates and giving candidates a comprehensive look into how they’ll utilize their skills to tackle meaty projects that foster engaging player experiences. With an eye for seeking those who thrive in a player-focused and results-oriented world, you’re the investigative recruiter who knows that the best hires come from dutiful analysis, timely follow-ups and commitment to providing a seamless and positive recruiting experience. You'll join a team that supports hiring initiatives throughout the company across several disciplines, including technology, finance, design and international business groups.
Based in Dublin, you’ll join a team of internationally and culturally diverse professionals that share our prioritization of player experience, rejection of convention and obsessive passion for gaming. With teams in Player Support, Community, Publishing and Marketing, My client is dedicated to creating unique player experiences that show European players they aren’t lost in translation.
Build long-term relationships with high-calibre talent, build and maintain a network of candidates
Screen and prepare candidates in a timely and consistent manner
Partner with hiring teams to drive recruiting efforts, increase hiring efficacy, train and mentor new recruiters and improve process efficiency
Cultivate candidate referrals across all teams
Improve and enrich the candidate database with relevant and timely information about high-priority hires and vetted agencies
Player-focused: as a player yourself, you can suss out those with genuine gamer mind-sets to find candidates who will thrive in a culture that takes play seriously
Full cycle: you have been deeply involved in corporate recruiting, if you’ve led recruiting teams of any size, that’s a plus
A skilled researcher: Looking for candidates from every angle, you build and utilize various sourcing plans and tools, including phone screens, internet research and ATS/CRM tracking, to find prime hires
Persuasive: when engaging with potential hires, you know how pushy is too pushy and can tailor your pitches to specific candidates
Inquisitive: you source candidates under a discerning eye, leaving no stone unturned or pertinent question unasked
Organized and agile: others can juggle a plate or two, but you can juggle the whole buffet; you can quickly change course when priorities shift or candidate relations fall through
It is essential that you have a proven track record of working within a similar environment and be passionate about the Games industry and my client’s portfolio.
