This office of this international developer & publisher represents one of the largest internal development organizations with more than 700 passionate mobile game experts involved in game development, testing, production and distribution. The game development studio is a team within this organization that is committed to building and running live services for some of the company’s top games.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for establishing and executing on the vision of a game title, to exacting quality standards. Producers oversee the whole lifecycle of the game from concept to launch through to live services. Your role is to ensure that Game Designers clearly define the game concept (i.e., its ‘X’ or the unique idea that makes it stand out from other games), and the market positioning of the game (including defining the target audience). You will then ensure the game production stays on target throughout the whole development process, as well as also providing the link and liaise between the development studio and the marketing and sales departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the game. Lead the management and ensure the delivery of a high quality product on time and within budget.
  • Plan for live services and ensure the game incorporates best practices and techniques relevant to the freemium games landscape
  • Lead and be accountable for title vision. Develop the creative center of the game. Communicate the title vision to the development team and to other parts of the organization, and help ensure that your product leverages the ideas and resources of the larger organization.
  • Drive team culture. Responsible for team morale & health. Initiate, foster, maintain and manage others toward positive working relationships with internal and external organizations critical to both current and future development process.
  • Build highly effective relationships with other parts of the organization (Development, QA, Marketing, Sales, PR, Operations, HR etc.)
  • Research and communicate game market trends, patterns and customer requirements
  • Oversee all project dependencies. Ensure contingency plans are in place & and ensure effective risk management. Understand and communicate issues facing various types of game play, artistic and technical considerations, and the ability to forecast the ramifications of decisions made during the concept/pre-production phase.
  • Be a great team player, and ensure that the Studio's interests are aligned with your own. This includes sharing people resources and ideas with your peer teams.
  • Passionately articulate goals and team principles to help form a stimulating and fun work environment/culture. Champion the professional development of your people and ensure that the studio continues to employ the very best individuals.


Qualifications:

  • You will have previous experience as a Producer, managing large internal teams within the video game industry (Software Engineers, Artists, Designers, Audio Specialists, Senior Project Managers, Associate Producers etc.);
  • Experience developing and executing game project plans;
  • Experience leading, motivating and driving teams to success;
  • Ability to know what types of products will sell and what won't sell and be able to assess the feasibility of producing a new product
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Successful track record in the development of high profile entertainment and software products;
  • Strong knowledge of the software/game market and platforms; assertive and motivated team player;
  • Strong technical background a plus


The salary on offer is negotiable dependent on experience but will be very competitive both regarding the basic salary as well as the benefits on offer (including healthcare, pension plan, accommodation), in addition to visa and relocation assistance.
