This is an opportunity to join one of Europe’s hottest and award-winning development studios on their next AAA title across online PC and console platforms.

This position will be responsible for the planning implementation and on-going management of the data identification capture management and retrieval for their online service based games and platforms as well as for the quality structure and management of data and information within the business . You will also be responsible for the overall management and direction to the BI personnel and is a key member of the online operations team.

NOTE: This position is both management and technical based and requires someone who can build and run teams but also define software processes and information flows.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Define and build the Technical Business Intelligence function within the studio
• Work with individual products to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery
• Oversee the ongoing development and operations of an operational data store and enterprise data warehouse
• Improving and streamlining processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy viability and value
• Overseeing the ongoing development and operations of a business intelligence architecture that enables fact-based decision making and ad hoc analysis and insight generation
• Staying current with industry trends
• Advising and educating management on their relative importance and impact

Skills/Experience required:

Requirements:
• Experience working in a Business Intelligence roles
• Staff management experience
• Experience building a Business Intelligence function within a business
• Proven experience of Data Warehouse delivery
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• An ability to instill and reinforce a strong customer service and business-oriented ethic within the team
• The ability to balance between data needs and requirements for action
• Strong management and leadership skills with a proactive participative management style
• Able to work well and productively always projecting a positive outlook in a fast-paced sometimes stressful environment
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Must be willing to relocate to Frankfurt Germany
