I am pleased to working with a well established developer and publisher renowned for their success over the years and who have established themselves firmly as a cornerstone of the UK games industry.

Senior/Lead Programmer:

•Programming Languages C++ essential and having knowledge of C# would be a benefit.
•General knowledge of multiple aspects of game coding.
This is a big ask but they are developing ‘smaller’ projects which will require the successful candidate to have a broad knowledge of porting and coding games from start to finish. (We are not specifically looking for a coder with a single area of coding expertise such as physics networking AI etc)
•Experience and a good knowledge of network programming would be a strong benefit.
•Experience (ie at least one released title) on any of the current leading platforms with a preference being PS3 and/or Vita.
•Experience in assigning and adhering to “realistic” time schedules and deadlines.

Projects will include development for PS Vita PC and iOS platforms. My client are also securing a number of Japanese console titles (generally PS3/360) with a view to convert (and localise if not already in English) to PC Steam etc for digital download. Beyond this they are also looking at working on new IP for the next gen of consoles.

This offers the right candidate fantastic variety in the work and a chance to get hands on with different platforms and techniques and to experience full product life cycle.

Holiday entitlement is 20 days (+bank holidays) with an additional day for each full year in our employment (Jan-Dec) rising to a maximum of 25 days. They also offer a company pension scheme.
