Job Description Founded at the start of the millenium and headquartered in picturesque Nova Scotia; our client specialize in creating the most spectacular and challenging console, handheld and PC Sport games ever conceived.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Create/write and drive the design process in conjunction with design team.
• Create schedules in co-ordination with the Technical, Art and Creative Directors
• Track projects to schedule and milestones
• Coordination of development staff and task interdependencies to ensure timely and accurate asset flow
• Facilitating communication
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the Assistant Producer on the team.
• Preparing & coordinating necessary documents
• Coordinating resources
• Researching content
• Identify and resolve conflicts between schedule, budget and design goals
• Identify, contract and direct individuals or organizations outside the project in the creation of assets such as independent contractors, talent, music, sound, voice and video production.
• Foster positive working relationship and teamwork within the development teams with an emphasis on communication.

• To bring high quality projects through to completion on schedule and in budget.
• Good relationships maintained with other team members at all times

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor’s level degree (preferably Comp Sci) or equivalent /related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a project management role.
• Good understanding of multimedia and software tools.
• Proficiency in project management software
• Excellent organizational and communication (both verbal & written) skills.
• A proven ability to multi-task, make decisions and solve problems efficiently and effectively.
• Self motivated and avid game player
• Able and willing to work additional hours as necessary to successfully complete tasks
• Excel as a team player and strive to maximize team/department performance.
• A dedicated work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• An understanding of game theory and related technology
• An understanding of the game development life cycle and design process - from concept to delivery
