My client has been established since 2006 and has become one of Europe’s most versatile studios. The studio has already developed a rich portfolio, from casual games to flight simulations to action and adventure games! These have been released on a wide range of platforms and technologies. Most recently they helped work on their parent companies most popular action adventure franchise!

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Execute game levels
  • Participates in the gameplay conception for the levels;
  • Understands and applies the narrative ambition in the levels;
  • Understands and implements the desired gameplay in the levels;
  • Prototype the environment, establish the layouts and suggest ways to use interactive and non-interactive means to create emotion for the player;
  • Participate in the design of the game space and use available tools to create the game space;
  • Collaborate with level artists to ensure that the level is playable and that the graphic elements support each other;
  • Control the accessibility, understanding, and difficulty of the level;
  • Actively participate in design specific discussions and design reviews;
  • Share your knowledge and help the less experienced level designers;
  • Fix design bugs entered into the database by testers;


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in level design & at least 2 shipped titles;
  • Enthusiasm and desire to work in the game development industry;
  • Ability and desire to work in creative and collaborative teams;
  • Ability to write clear, concise documentation in English;
  • Proficiency in basic software such as word processing, spreadsheets, etc.;
  • Excellent knowledge of level editing tools and scripting languages such as LUA;
  • Excellent communication skills (in English)
  • Excellent knowledge and strong experience of computer and video games;
  • Ability to manage his/her own time and work within tight deadlines;
