My client has been established since 2006 and has become one of Europe’s most versatile studios. The studio has already developed a rich portfolio, from casual games to flight simulations to action and adventure games! These have been released on a wide range of platforms and technologies. Most recently they helped work on their parent companies most popular action adventure franchise!

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Create game systems according to the creative direction;
  • Analyse and anticipates the behaviours of game systems;
  • Conceptualize, create and maintain detailed game design documentation throughout the project cycle;
  • Update documentation to offer a useful work reference for the whole team;
  • Collaborate with other teams in order to develop strong gameplay mechanics;
  • Prototype and iterate on the core game mechanics;
  • Use game and player knowledge to support propositions and choices with references;
  • Balance and adjust gameplay experiences to ensure the game’s critical and commercial success;
  • Implement game content using in house engine tools, and basic scripting;
  • Take ownership of key elements of the game, driving them to completion;
  • Provides constructive feedback on all areas of the game;
  • Collaborate with and support senior team members and other staff across worldwide studios;
  • Able to distribute elements in a way that optimizes learning;
  • Be a decision maker and closer on design tasks;


Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in games design and at least 2 shipped titles;
  • Enthusiasm and desire to work in the game development industry;
  • Ability and desire to work in creative and collaborative teams;
  • Ability to write clear, concise documentation in English;
  • Proficiency in basic software such as word processing, spreadsheets, etc.;
  • Extensive game culture knowledge and ability to analyse game design in a market context;
  • Ability to manage his/her own time and work within deadlines;
