The Role:
The role is based from their London office and reports directly to the Sales Director. Previously you will have worked at a similar level for at least 2 years selling games entertainment products into major retail supermarket chains. Your skills and experience will ideally meet the following criteria:- 

  • Knowledge of UK Retail supermarkets to include customer-specific constraints and dynamics, and have the ability to develop customer-specific strategies
  • Develop customer-specific promotional opportunities and calendars
  • Ownership of key retail trade marketing and merchandising initiatives
  • Leverage multi-functional team, Customer Service, Finance and Supply Chain to help identify and solve broader business issues
  • Present and negotiate new listings, manage back catalogue
  • Implement new product launches at customer level in line with business expectations
  • Attend trade shows and managers conferences when required
  • Focus on digital distribution
  • Understanding of business performance and analyse key performance drivers 

The Person:
Working within a small team, the successful candidate should be friendly, outgoing and have an interest in games. In addition, you should have a minimum of 2 years experience within the games industry with a proven track record of sales achievement, ideally within a publishing environment. A flexible approach is required as the role is not a typical 9-5 position and may involve working out of normal office hours from time to time. You will be responsible for handling highly valued UK accounts for the business such as Tesco, The Hut, Shopto but in addition your responsibilities will extend to Ireland and South Africa. A positive attitude is essential as is a good sense of humour, the team is young, fun and hardworking and you must be able to liaise with people at all levels across the worldwide group.
