Job Description Jagex Ltd, the UK’s leading independent online games studio, is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Community Management Team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join this rapidly growing games company, working as part of a large team to support, engage and grow our bustling online communities of players.

In this exciting and varied role, you could be dealing with anything from running International in-game player events and tournaments to clan support or community competitions!

Key Duties Include:
  • Ownership of all Social Media profiles within Jagex
  • Work with all areas of CM from Social Media to creation of engaging content for all our channels
  • Creating and managing new social media profiles as required
  • Generating viral campaigns to support key initiatives including Apps, competitions and promotion
  • Watching emerging trends in Social Media and making suggestions as required
  • Tracking, measuring and reporting on our social media impact
  • Driving new and exciting Social Media projects
  • Working with key community groups to support user generated content
  • Adhoc Community Management tasks

Essential Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar Community Management/Social Media role
  • Knowledge of current Social Media trends and best practices
  • Experience using Social Media management and analytics software
  • Highly creative and organized
  • Fantastic work ethic and output
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows/MS Office

Desirable Requirements:
  • General knowledge of MMORPGs
  • A keen gamer and understanding of the games industry
  • Experience building and delivering campaigns such as App creation or YouTube partnership programs.
  • Exceptional MS Office skills, especially with Excel
  • Experience using software such as Photoshop
  • Analytical mindset
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
