Job Description	Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer Our client is looking for Software Engineers with online games or networking experience who want to help take online development to the next level. Our clients latest titles are extending the co-operative and competitive online play on PC, PS3 and XBox360 - they are looking to grow their team to get the most out of all that online offers. They require people with experience of client/server multi-platform networking code. Your skills should place an emphasis on fast, real-time solutions that consider and address the challenges of developing for different operating systems. An excellent knowledge of C/C++ is needed along with a Maths and/or Physics A Level (or equivalent). All applicants should have good communication and problem-solving skills and have the ability to work as part of a team. Requirements: First class or 2:1 degree (relevant fields include Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Astrophysics and Informatics) A level Maths or Physics or equivalent (grade C and above) An excellent knowledge of C/C++. Good communication and problem-solving skills. The ability to work as part of a team. A genuine enthusiasm and passion for video games and their development. A positive, diligent attitude. Essential experience / skills: Client/server multi-platform networking. Skills that focus on fast, real-time solutions that consider and address the challenges of developing for different operating systems. Multiplayer technology experience. Senior experience: Experience of monitoring and guiding other members of the team. A willingness to pass on knowledge to less experienced members of the team and an open attitude to learn from junior members.
