Job Description	Our client is the leading online games services provider in SE Asia and they are the first in the country to support the demand for interactive digital entertainment throughout the Region. With a technology supported by online payment gateways tailored for a multi-country operating experience, our client is uniquely qualified to provide a comprehensive solution that supports the network growth. Our client is currently seeking a VP of Marketing to drive the Southeast Asia portfolio strategy, go-to-market marketing strategy and marketing aspects of game development, and oversee strategy discussions inside the Games Publishing function and between the Games Publishing and Marketing Communication teams. KEY RESULT AREAS 1.Marketing Strategy •Build and grow the brand •Prepare a company-wide regional/global marketing plan, calendar and budget •Create and oversee game-specific marketing plans •Create and oversee country-specific marketing plans •Strategize with the Publishing team (Product Managers, Game Operations and Support, Sales and Distribution) on the creation of the above marketing plans •Ensure appeal, relevance and update of game website 2. Marketing Program Management •Ensure successful execution of marketing plan (achieving desired results on time and within budget) •Work with the Publishing team (Product Managers, Game Operations and Support, Sales and Distribution) for the implementation of marketing programs 3. Market Research •Understand and keep up-to-date on target markets, competitors and the gaming industry in the countries where the Company operates •Gather and maintain market statistics, trends, projections, etc. 4. People Management •Hire, train, coach and develop high-performing team members QUALIFICATIONS Education: •Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field •MBA preferred Experience: •6+ years’ product marketing experience, specifically in the pre-paid, gaming/internet industry •3+ years’ management experience •Previous experience with a game product distributor or publisher an advantage •Regional marketing experience in Southeast Asia Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) •Demonstrated brand management, category analysis and consumer research skills •Ability to prioritize and succeed in a fast-paced collaborative and entrepreneurial environment •Exceptional business relationship skills •Has a passion for online games and good understanding of game publishing •High level of creative energy •Strong multi-tasking skill •Outstanding leadership and excellent interpersonal skills •Dedicated to internal and external customer satisfaction •Ability to provide prompt and amicable problem resolution •Excellent communication skills In English and preferably, in other Southeast Asian languages •Computer and Internet savvy Others: •Willing and able to travel frequently Please contact David Smith on 0208 944 7777 or david@interactiveselection.com if you are interested in this position.
